Rob Evans (Nu Spirit) is no stranger to a good Trance night, having experienced the vibe of the legendary Escape nightclub in Wales. Room one was a haven for driving, melodic trance beats, Rob was mesmerised by the likes of Paul Van Dyk and local hero’s DJ Alan Tomlinson (Big AL) Knowing that his heroes were advocates of vinyl DJ’ing, Rob was soon destined for a pair of turntables himself.

Having locked himself away for years. Rob soon found himself playing numerous legendary venues up and down the country, including the iconic Ministry of Sound in London, where he was able to show just how much of a crowd collaborator he really is. Not too long after that, Rob found himself wrapped up in the awe of playing none other than the legendary Cream Ibiza tour with Agnelli and Nelson. 2019 saw Rob envision and create Saving Light Events which is all about the love of music and helping people who suffer from mental health.

This project has gone from strength to strength with support from some of the world’s best known heavyweight DJ’s such as Allen Watts, Alessandra Roncone, Paul Denton, Xiajro & Pitch and Mista Hisloot to name but a few. Rob has also recently turned to produce under his NuSpirit & Future State and Nuspirit Productions, recently remixing The Conductor & The Cowboy – Sail Away and Noisetek – Guardians of Destiny, released at the tail end of 2020 and beginning of 2021 respectively. He also has had his debut track signed to Kinected Records Nu Spirit-By my Side released in Aug and Peaking at Number 30 in the top 100 Trance Chart.
